Growing and Care Information
- Put your compressed peat puck in the bottom of the capsule and add ¼ cup of water. There should be no standing pools of water, but the germination mixture should be quite wet.
- Soak the seeds in warm water overnight.
- You can also scarify the seeds by nicking them with a knife or rubbing them on concrete prior to planting.
- Plant the seeds ½ inch deep in the planting mixture and cover.
- Cover the opening with plastic wrap and a rubber band to ensure germination.
- You can remove as early as one month after seeds sprout.
- The seeds will start sprouting in two to four weeks.
- Place terrarium in a warm place where it receives bright, indirect light and will not be easily knocked over.
- Water once a week after you removed the plastic wrapping.
- They will thrive in a variety of light conditions from part to full sun.
- This garden was designed for indoor use, do not put in full sun outside.
- Trim off any brown leaves.
- These plants are very easy to grow and will require very little care.
